Hand thrown on a traditional potter’s wheel with fine British stoneware, our handmade ceramic jugs are an exploration of ergonomic shapes, contrasting finishes and tonal shades.

Works of art as well as useful vessels, the pieces stem from Emma’s background in sculpture and extensive research into how people interact with objects, creating a dialogue between the hands of the maker and the fluid shapes and tactility that are possible in clay. The textured satin matt glazes on the exterior and practical glossy glazes within increase the desire to reach out, touch and discover, with each stoneware jug encouraging an intimate interaction with its surprising contours and surfaces.
