The ‘Everyday’ range’s subtly dented form gives a comforting and functional ergonomic, which is accentuated by changing surface textures where the glaze design reveals the clay. This hand-thrown range was the main inspiration for ‘DuO’ with its manipulated top rim and strategically placed handle. A mixture of stoneware clays is used depending on the types of clays Emma is working with at the time. A grey grogged stoneware is mixed with a lighter clay, sometimes even porcelain to give a unique and subtle surface finish.
