If positioned correctly, the cup rocks from a tilted to an upright position when liquid is poured in, therefore integrating a surprise within the user experience. The sloping recess in the saucer, which allows the cup to sit at an angle, gives the user an opportunity to then play with the weight and position of the cup and become acquainted with it over time.
